Sunday 26th February saw a wonderful occasion in Kilmacud to mark the farewell of our curate, Fr Conleth Meehan. Appointed to Kilmacud & Mount Merrion in 2010 after his ordination, Fr Conleth spent the first 6 years of his ministry serving the two parishes faithfully and got to know so many parishioners in his time with us.
At the concelebrated mass of Thanksgiving, Fr’s Brian, Paddy, Clement, and Tony joined Fr Conleth on the Altar, and Fr Tony presented him with a framed copy of the Kilmacud Parish icon of St. Laurence O’Toole as he thanked him for his service from the Altar.
As he settles in to his new appointment in Portmarnock, we keep him in our prayers.
