Dear friends in the Parishes of Mount Merrion and Kilmacud, on behalf of my family, I would like to express our sincerest appreciation and gratitude for all the support, compassion and understanding we have received from you. For all the tenderness and love shown to our brother, Tony, we thank you.
For the magnificent send-off Tony received and for all the thousand details
required to make it happen, we thank you.
Tony died as he wished, with his nearest and dearest present, in his own room, in his own home, in the heart of his parishes. He was aware and unafraid, it felt very complete.
Tony is now forever a part of your parishes. For our family both parishes will always be a part of us.
Tony would have wanted and enjoyed this. He probably even planned it! His wish for us now would be:
LOVE WHILE YOU CAN. LIVE WHILE YOU CAN.
